Today, we are going to know about the commendable initiative of the Maharashtra Government for the farmers' revolution through the Organic Farming Mission.

Since Independence of India, Maharashtra state is ahead in the area of both Agriculture and Industry and is also progressive.

Maharashtra State, which owns only 10% of the total area of ​​the country, contributes to GDP to the tune of 12.4%.

Due to the foresight of Maharashtra State Ministry, the decisions of benefits to the farmers, and formation of  useful policies, the Maharashtra Agro Industries Development Corporation Ltd., the State's own Company was formed.

The MAIDC has been set up on December 15, 1965, and has a total of 5 Divisions,  including Fertilizer, Pesticide, Agro-engineering, Animal Feed and the NOGA Division, to provide reasonable prices and quality products. The Corporation's operations are continuing with these Divisions.

The Maharashtra Agro Industries Development Corporation Ltd is  Government Undertaking Company. It was established in 1965.  The purpose of the establishment of the Company was to provide whatever is necessary to the farmers at the right price so that the farmers can not be extorted.

From the time of inception, till today, the Corporation has been working continuously in the service of farmers.

In the Organic Farming Mission, the Corporation has mainly taken steps to ensure the success of the campaign, by participating in it.  That is why Organic Farming Mission is spreading across the entire Maharashtra.

The extra usage of Chemical Fertilizers and Pesticides in agriculture has affected mankind with a number of disorders.  The Maharashtra Agro Industries Development Corporation Limited has rejuvenated farmers by providing them the organic bio capsules.

Why should farmers do organic farming?  

Why use biological fertilizers for it?

Our soil, having natural bacteria & fungus, is able to make nutrients and other elements in the soil,  easily available to crops.  These bacteria are protected due to biological fertilizers.

Bacteria that are useful for soil fertility, increased productivity and natural disinfection of organic matter, are protected by Biological Fertilizers.

Thus, Maharashtra Agro Industries Development Corporation Ltd. has made available, various types of Bio-Capsules for the use of farmers.

Each the capsule contains the largest amount of 1 lac crores bacteria which is 5000 crores of bacteria in powder formulation and more than 10000 crores of bacteria in a liquid formulation.

Bio-capsule developed by the Corporation has an easy way to use. 

Per crop,  mix one Bio-capsule in 5 liters of lukewarm water.

To increase the seed germination, strength, stir the water with Bio capsule and rub seeds with it and keep it in the shade to dry.

To save the seeds from harmful fungus in the soil and to improve soil texture, mix the remaining solution in 200 liters of water, sprinkle it on the field.

Before releasing a liquid mixture of Bio-capsule on the farm, it is extremely necessary that the land is already wet.

Why the farmers should use Bio-Capsules?

The use of Bio-Capsule improves the texture of the soil.  

By using Bio-Capsules, the soil structure is increased. It increases water retention capacity, root growth, productivity, quality, and biotic bacteria production.  Similarly, it increases the immunity of crops which helps in maintaining the balance of nature.
