Glorious Past Gloomed Present (Short story)

Hey readers and listeners!

This is a rehearsal of what we have forgotten it, as history, hidden in books, unfolded or not accessed.

We had had an enriched history of civilization over several thousands of years ago, with baffling mastery in almost all walks of life!

We had invented and discovered several new concepts, inventions, etc. which are now used in our day to day life, all over the World.

Let us open the envelope!  

One by one, to view our spectacular India in the past. 😎

Our Puranas states a story about a VARAH, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, holding the round globe on His tusks. What's it?

This shows that Purana is also supporting the theory of round Globe even in that Era!! Whereas in other civilizations, which developed thousands of years later, it was believed that the World is flat and the Sun with the entire celestial body is revolving the Earth!!!!

And whoever claimed that the Earth is round, was killed.😱😱😱

The word Jagat for the world in Indian language is derived from the phrase GATI which means motion. And this again supports the theory of moving earth, as per Hindu Purana.

Now, let us look into other fields, with astonishing facts, which we either invented or we excelled in. 

Quite astonishing!!!

A) RUST PROOF IRON PILLARS:

1. Iron Pillar opposite Kutub Minar is about 1000 years old and is yet not rusted a bit all these centuries, even with today's heavy current air pollution of Delhi.

2. Another iron pillar is seen at Kollur, Bangaluru, where it rains approximately 750cm over 6 to 8 months. This was built by tribals, 2400 years ago to welcome Shri Adi Shankaracharya, on his visit to their village. 

So it shows that this technology was at the grassroots level of the society, and not restricted to highly educated people. Wow🤔

3. A similar iron pillar is also found at Gateway of India, Mumbai.

B) ZINC ABSTRACTING:

The art of abstracting zinc from zinc ore was developed about 4000 years ago, here.

Zinc ore is melted above 997° C. It becomes vapor or gas at 1000°C. 

This is tricky, to get zinc in solid form, the temperature has to be within that 3° C window. For this, they used a furnace, keeping upside down, with ice blocks at the bottom, which grabbed zinc in liquid form, before it becomes a vapor, converting it in solid form. 

Isn't that great😀

C) TWIN STAR 

1000 years ago we discovered the twin star and named Arundhati-Vasishtha, part of the Ursa Major constellation, where Arundanti rotates around Vasishtha. 

A newlywed couple had a ritual to observe the twin star to follow the same way in their married life.😁 

Jokes apart, but without the aid of a telescope, this twin star was discovered, with its rotation!! 

Isn't this amazing!!

D) ENGINEERING:

Several temples in India are constructed with excellent Engineering and mathematical calculations.

Temples in Hampi, an ancient village in the state of Karnataka, were built in the 7th Century. 

One temple is famous for musical pillars, sounding SA RE GA MA PA DHA NI SA!!! What an advanced molding technology, wonder with what technology!

Another circular granite stone has perfect carved curvatures found in the Rumappa temple.

A stone roof has a stone chain mixed with the roof, seen in Sri Gaurisvara Temple, Yelandur, built-in the 16th Century.

Both stones are different, as prooved by Archeologists.

This is one of several examples of rock melting technology!!!

Hoysaleswara temple

In another case, Hoysaleswara temple a 12th Century Hindu temple has planetary Gear Technology found in a Gear in the hand of God Masana Bhairava, with a 2:1 ratio with a fastener around it and a lock at the center.

This very same technique is followed even today all over the world!!! Masana means measurement!!! 

Was it sculpted manually? No way? Inside the temple, there is a 7 feet idol having uncanny ornaments. A small twig can be passed from eye to another, ears to ears, ears to mouth! This means the skull is hollow from inside with holes of not more than 1 millimeter!!

Archaeologists confirm that this 7 feet idol is carved out of a single solid rock. The Hoysaleswara temple also has the 6th and 7th largest statue of bulls. In terms of beauty, they stand 1st & 2nd in the world, because they are polished with machines of those days design and the polishing is of such excellent quality, giving a mirror-like look even after 900 years of pollution, corrosion and damage. 

We can also see rotary burr, very much matching today's design.

Somnath : 

Built 1000 years ago, it has BANASTAMBH means arrow pillar, which has a massage carved that if we draw a straight line from here to the South Pole, i.e. today's Antarctica, there is no land in between but only water!!!

Was this possible without advanced technology?

Now we will have a rapid roundabout more interesting facts of our great ancient India!!

* Indus valley civilization is 6000 years old;

* Chess, the brain game, was originated from India although in a different pattern;

* Trigonometry, Algebra, Calculus originated from India;

* Decimal Point, Place Value System originated from India;

* World's first University was established 700 BC, here, called Takshila, with over 10500 students from all over the World, studied in more than 60 subjects, those days!!!

* Earliest Medical school known to the mankind, Ayurveda, which is practiced to the day, all over the World, was dated 2500 years back.

* About 6000 years ago, India developed navigational skills. The word Navigation is derived from the Sanskrit word NAVGATIH;

* Indian Mathematician Budhayana calculated the value of Pie and explained the concept of Pythagoras theory.

* Medical surgery was in practice 2600 years ago, introduced by Sushruta, who did several complex operations;

* Varanasi, the oldest city to be occupied by people, existing till date in the World, has a history of 4000 years;

* And who doesn't know about Yoga! originated from the Indus Saraswati civilization, in Northern India about 5000 years ago.

* Bhagwad Gita isn't just a religious book but a scientist solution to day-to-day problems of life. 

Scientist Julius Oppenheimer, who made 1st atom bomb, has clearly stated of reading the Bhagwad Gita. Adolf Hitler had translated Bhagwad Gita into the German language to know the tactics of war.

*Dwarka city built about 9500 years ago and Mohenjo Daro-Harappa cities, 4600 years ago, showed how civilized and progressed were the communities.

Isn't this astonishing? 

WHERE LIED THE PROBLEM?

But a million-dollar question is:

Where all these progress vanished?  
Why this culture perished?
Why today an average Indian is in a miserable state of living?
Why this extraordinary achievement did not ascend to exist today?

The answer is, we NEVER remained united. Instead, we continued to stay divided and ignoring the strength of unity landed us present miserable state. We never followed the culture.
The Moguls, Deutsche, British, French, all these foreign invaders attacked, looted, and slaved us.
The British loot us of everything. Wealth, skill, technology, and supremacy in all walks of life.

Post Independence, illiteracy and ignorance of Freedom responsibility, its value, and strength, has caused severe damage to the Indian Society. 

The grieve problems we are gripped with, today, causing the dismal state of living. Rulers with wrong ideologies, religious disputes, mass in-education, lack of self-belief, Civil war, war with neighboring countries, combatting terrorism, huge World Bank Loans, corruption, pollution,

Despite stupendous development in Communication and Artilleries, we have the least brother-hood among people, preferred to be individual-centered, and have not learned from History. 

Post Independence, Congress. the ruling and oldest political party, has to a great extent damaged social life silently, churning wealth through various scams, have de-stabilized our Economy, our heritage, our culture, and taken control of the Media for their own benefit. 

The country has become a paradise for foreign migrants, who prefer staying in shanties with the blessings of local politicians for vote bank.

On the other hand, we have billions of dollars scammers, looting the country, and fleeing. Some Politicians / Businessmen are in the bracket of 10 wealthiest people in the World. The unaccounted money in Swiss Bank literally can run India's Economy without imposing Taxes on the public for years.

Today we have Bhartiya Janta Party, headed by Shri Modiji. Despite this party labeled as a religious Party, the PM has appealed every Indian, irrespective of religion, caste, a creed to step ahead together.  This is a perfect drive to make India a stable country with unity. The next task to do is to make awareness of cleanliness, mass-education, self-discipline, and understanding our responsibility towards our Country.

Today we have seen Hindu unity in Shabrimala matter where lakhs of Hindu females showing solidarity, failing all powers trying to destabilize Hindus. It shows when it comes to existence, we get united. 

This habit of resisting oppression at the last moment has created a myth about Hindus that we are cowards. 

We have to change gear.
